Application Guidelines

Purpose - Everett’s Community Sponsorship Program is an annual application process where local not for profit groups, organisations, or individuals, who provide services to local community residents, can apply for sponsorship.

The aim of the Sponsorship program is to support a broad range of initiatives that enhance the well-being of our local community.

Principle - Everett Butchers has been operating in Kalgoorlie-Boulder since 1932 and is a local family-owned business that believes in this town and the diverse range of groups that come together to create supportive activities that assist in maintaining the wellbeing of the local community.

Definition - Everett’s sponsorship is recognised as the supply of tangible items/products with the potential rights and benefits associated with an organisation which results in increasing Everett’s brand awareness and customer base.

Sponsorship is not advertising, hospitality or return of favour and does not include:

            Donations (free money given)

            Grants (a sum of money provided to an organisation for a specific service)

Timeline - The sponsorship period is for each financial year and will be open to applicants on the 1st of June each year.

It will be sponsorship for that next financial year only – July - June

Applicants must submit their request on the correct application form which is available upon request.

The following conditions will apply:

1. Community Groups and organisations must be incorporated
2. The application form must be completed in full, and any relevant documentation attached
3. All successful recipients will be required to complete an “end of sponsorship form” at the conclusion of the sponsorship year or event and failure to do this will make any future application ineligible
4. All applications will be assessed, and successful applicants will be notified within 2 weeks of sponsorship submission.
5. All sponsorship is for forward projects and no retrospective sponsorship will be approved
6. All applicants will be expected to provide marketing and promotional opportunities for Everett Butchers.

"If your club is successful with this sponsorship, it will be a requirement to set up a rewards card in store.

You will need to advise all your club members and friends of your club that they must let the Everett’s staff know to have their sale points added to the “club card”.

For every 500 points accumulated a voucher will be produced (An appointed/authorised person will need to collect these and this will give the club the opportunity to spend these in store on any product.)

This also allows Everett Butchers to monitor the reciprocal support from your organisation with the view for future sponsorship."
